The Breeze Ups for New Zealand Bloodstock's Ready to Run Sale 2011 were successfully completed this afternoon with 307 two-year-olds going through their paces at Te Rapa.

The two day event saw the two-year-olds Breeze Up over the final 200 metres of the Te Rapa straight, with every lot individually timed and filmed. DVD copies of the Breeze Ups will be available to order from NZB from Tuesday 25 October, and will be posted online from that date.

Tuesday saw 19 millimetres of rain fall on the course overnight, with the track downgraded to a slow nine. With the running rail moved in four metres, the 144 two-year-olds that breezed up ran an average time of 11.49 seconds for the day. The fastest time for day two going to Mangatiti Bloodstock's Patapan gelding (Lot 106) who ran a slick time of 10.20 seconds.
